Wetaskiwin Family Fun Fair
Family fun for everyone!
Everyone loves a fair. That's why we're holding an exciting Family Fun Fair - right here in Wetaskiwin - for the whole family to enjoy. Here are the details:

When:  Saturday, April 22, 10:00am- 4:00pm
Where: Drill Hall (4513-50 Avenue)
What:   Bouncy castles, carnival games, vendor market, snow cones, popcorn, tattoos, gaming station and more!

All proceeds from the Wetaskiwin Family Fun Fair will go to the local Canadian Tire Jumpstart Chapter.

There is no charge for admission, but the inflatable features will cost $12/each for an wristband (valid for the duration of the event) or presale at the Manluk Centre for $10/each. Wristbands can be purchased on site.

Earth Day Play
April 22nd just happens to be EARTH DAY! The theme for the Family Fun Fair will have an Earth Day theme this year! We will have crafts from recycled or biodegradable material that will fun for the entire family!

We'll be wrapping up our "My Green Wetaskiwin" Banner Contest. For more detail on that please click here.

The City Engineering & Development will be selling the Compost Bins and Rain Barrels to promote water conservation and composting. 

The Rain Barrels are:

  • 34" tall x 24" wide x 24" depth
  • 55 gallon/208 litres
  • Higher spigot accommodates most watering cans
  • Childproof lid
  • Square shape - ideal for corners
  • Manufactures with recycled content
  • Cost is $60/each ($5 from the sale of each Barrel will go the Canadian Tire Jumpstart Chapter here in Wetaskiwin).

  • It's animal and pest resistant with a locking lid
  • Cost is $50/each ($5 from the sale of each Bin will go to the Canadian Tire Jumpstart Chapter here in Wetaskiwin)
