Film in Wetaskiwin

As one of Alberta's oldest cities, Wetaskiwin offers historic charm and a rich history reflected in the restoration of many historic buildings in the city's downtown core. Founded in 1892, the community quickly grew with Wetaskiwin becoming a town in 1902 and a city in 1906.

We invite filmmakers to explore a region steeped in true frontier spirit surrounded by vast agricultural lands, parks and recreation trails, strategically located only 35 minutes from Edmonton International Airport.

Access

  • 35 minutes from Edmonton International Airport (YEG)
