Wetaskiwin Regional Program Guide

The City of Wetaskiwin produces two regional program guides each year (Spring/Summer, and Fall/Winter). These program guides showcase the many seasonal events and activities taking place in and around Wetaskiwin.

Submitting a Program or Event

Want to advertise your program or event in the 2019 Fall/Winter Program Guide? All you have to do is complete our online submission form before July 10, 2019. All program guide submissions must be done online using our online registration form. Even if you are only submitting a paid ad, you must still complete our online form to indicate the ad size and billing information.

There are two options for featuring your information in the guide:

  • Text-only entries
    Free text-only entries of 60 words or less are free. If you wish to include a logo with your text entries, a fee of $50+GST will be charged. Text entries that are more than 60 words will automatically be edited for length.
  • Paid ads
    The dimensions of the program guide are 8.5" by 11" and the ad dimensions and associated costs are as follows:
    • 1/4 page ad | $150+GST | 5 inches wide x 3.25 inches high
    • 1/2 page ad | $250+GST | 7.75 inches wide x 4.825 inches high
    • Full page ad | $400+GST | 7.75 inches wide x 10 inches high

*Note: It is the responsibility of each organization to have their advertisements sized to the above dimensions before submitting them.

Program Guide Mandate

The Program Guide is a non-commercial publication that advertises educational, recreational, and personal wellness programs in Wetaskiwin and the surrounding area. Businesses must promote a program, learning opportunity, and/or community service that falls within the above mandate.
