City Council Meeting Dates

Wetaskiwin City Council typically meets on the second (2nd) and fourth (4th) Monday of each month (except for July & August, where they meet only once on the third (3rd) Monday) at 4:00 pm in Council Chambers, located on the third floor of Wetaskiwin City Hall (4705 - 50 Avenue).

*In an effort to contain the spread of COVID-19, in-person attendance at Council or Committee meetings is only available for registered speakers until further notice—though we also encourage speakers to remote in to meetings wherever possible.

Meeting dates and associated agendas are posted on the home page of the City’s official website the Friday before each meeting. All Council meetings are open to the public. 

Presenting to City Council

If you would like to present to Wetaskiwin City Council, you can do one of two things:

Option 1: Open Mic
  • Five (5) minutes to speak
  • Speakers can register to speak just before current Council meeting begins
  • Topic of presentation cannot already be on the regular Council agenda
Option 2: Formal Presentation
  • Ten (10) minutes to speak
  • Speakers must register at least 14 days in advance of next Council meeting
  • Presentation will be included in the published Council meeting agenda
