The City is now accepting applications for members-at-large to serve on the
boards and committees noted below (most appointments are three years):
WETASKIWIN LIBRARY BOARD – Four (4) Openings
This Board organizes, promotes and maintains efficient library services. Board meetings are held on the third Tuesday of each month and committee meetings are held as needed.
SUBDIVISION AND DEVELOPMENT APPEAL BOARD – One (1) Opening
The Subdivision and Development Appeal Board is a Board which reviews and makes a final decision on development applications or subdivisions which have been appealed. The Board operates independently and is considered “quasi-judicial”. The City will make training available to any new members. Hearings are scheduled on an “as required” basis and are generally infrequent.
The deadline for submissions would be December 5th, 2016.
