[ARCHIVED] Notice of Tree Removal

Black Ash Tree.png
The Black Ash trees on 44 Street are dying, and the City of Wetaskiwin has decided to remove them after careful consideration. This was not an easy decision to make as we value our boulevard trees and consider them an asset to our beautiful City. The Black Ash will be replaced with a variety of Elm in next year’s budget cycle. The Elm trees will provide a beautiful canopy over the street once they mature.

If you have any questions about the tree removal, please contact our Parks department at 780.361.4441.
