The Alberta Development Officer’s Association (ADOA) Conference hosts a silent auction every year, with the proceeds going towards any organization as picked by the Conference Committee. This year, the 2018 ADOA Conference Committee chose the Wetaskiwin & Millet Food Banks as the beneficiaries of the funds brought in by the silent auction.
The sum of $1,600 was brought in by the silent auction, and the City of Wetaskiwin donated its extra conference funds ($400) to bring the donation total up to $2,000. Split evenly, the Wetaskiwin Food Bank and Millet Food Bank each received $1,000.
The City of Wetaskiwin and the Town of Millet are very proud to be helping our local communities, and we are thankful for the help of our fellow ADOA members. We look forward to helping another community next year.
