Held annually on June 21, National Indigenous Peoples Day is an opportunity to celebrate and learn more about the cultural diversity of Canada's First Nations people. The City of Wetaskiwin has arranged for free busing for Wetaskiwin residents to attend and enjoy the festivities and area in honour of this important occasion.
Busing to Maskwacis on June 21
The staging area for busing is at the southwest end of the Wetaskiwin Mall parking lot (near the pet store). Rides are free! Everyone is welcome.
The bus schedule for the day is as follows:
11:30 am
| Bus leaves Wetaskiwin for Ermineskin Powwow Grounds (first bus run of the day)
